Nanrobot D6+MAX FAQ
How fast is the D6+MAX in the real world?
Nanrobot rates it at 45 mph in optimal conditions, and tells riders to expect a solid 38–42 mph in typical street riding. Either way, it has more than enough to stay ahead of city traffic.
What range should I plan on?
Two published figures: up to 75 miles at a gentle steady pace under Nanrobot’s test conditions, and about 40 miles ridden fast. Hills, weight, speed and weather all move the number between those bookends.
What’s the advantage of tubeless tires?
No inner tube to pinch-flat, small punctures are easier to seal, and the 10” wide casing puts more rubber on the ground for grip in turns and emergency stops — on pavement, dirt or gravel.
Is the steering damper included like on the N6?
No — on the D6+MAX the steering damper is optional and sold separately. Riders who spend a lot of time near top speed often add one; ask us about it when you visit.
How does the NFC keyless system work?
The included NFC card is your key — tap it against the display to unlock and power up. No physical key to carry or lose.
What’s different about the With Seat build?
$1,549 gets you the D6+MAX with a detachable, spring-suspended saddle; without it the price is $1,399. The seat pops off in seconds, and on seat builds it ships separately from the e-scooter itself.
Can it handle steep hills?
Yes — it’s rated for 30° climbs with both motors engaged, and the dual-motor torque is exactly what you feel first on an incline.
How heavy is it?
88.18 lbs — notably lighter than most machines in this performance class, and it folds in about three seconds to 52.1” × 28.8” × 21.6” for trunks and storage.
Is it easy to service?
It’s one of the most serviceable e-scooters we carry — most components connect through quick-release waterproof plugs, so repairs are unplug-and-click. Our technicians handle all of it in the shop.
Is it waterproof?
It carries an IP54 rating — fine in damp conditions and light rain, but not for standing water or pressure washing. And never charge a wet or swollen battery — bring it straight in to us.
Is the battery certified?
Yes — the D6+MAX is UL2272 certified and the 60V 30Ah pack is built on 21700 lithium cells with safety protection.
Does it have a speed-limit mode?
Yes — alongside cruise control there’s a 15.5 mph limit mode for paths and local rules, and three gears that cap speed progressively. Always follow your local regulations.
Can I test ride one?
Absolutely — that’s the point of walking into a Wilson’s shop. See the olive-green finish in person and take one for a spin:

Who takes care of it after the sale?
We do — our technicians service what we sell, any brand, any issue, and the D6+MAX’s plug-and-play wiring makes most jobs quick.
