Nanrobot G2: one frame, two personalities

The G2 comes two ways — a $549 single-motor build for everyday commuting, or a $699 dual-motor version that turns the same 10”-tire, dual-suspension frame into a 37 mph machine.

$549
Single rear motor — 800W, 48V 15.6Ah battery, 10° climbs
$699
Dual motor — 2×1000W, 48V 20.8Ah battery, 20° climbs

How fast is it?

Up to 37 mph — you decide how much you need

In dual-motor trim the G2 tops out at 37 mph with 20° climbing muscle; the single-motor build trades outright pace for a lower price and gentler delivery. Same frame, same brakes, same tires — just the drivetrain that fits your streets.

How far per charge?

25–28 miles either way

Both battery options — 48V 15.6Ah on the single, 48V 20.8Ah on the dual — land in the same 25–28 mile band, because the dual’s bigger pack feeds two motors. Charging takes 8–9 hours on either build.

What about rough roads?

Springs at both ends, float over the mess

Front and rear spring suspension soaks up potholes, expansion joints and light trail chatter before they reach your ankles. Riders describe the result as floating rather than skating — the difference dual suspension makes at this price.

What tires does it run?

10” all-terrain rubber, bigger contact patch

The heavy-duty 10” pneumatic tires put more rubber on the road than the 8–8.5” wheels typical at this price — more grip in corners, more stability at speed, and enough tread to handle gravel paths and packed dirt.

How does it stop — and how is it at night?

Discs, signals, and a horn people actually hear

Front and rear disc brakes keep their bite in the wet and at speed. After dark, bright front and rear lights plus integrated turn signals keep you visible — and the high-decibel electronic horn makes sure you’re heard before you’re seen.

Questions riders ask

Nanrobot G2 FAQ

What’s the difference between the two G2 builds?
The $549 build runs a single 800W rear motor on a 48V 15.6Ah battery and climbs 10° grades; the $699 build runs two 1000W motors on a 48V 20.8Ah battery and climbs 20°. Frame, tires, brakes and suspension are identical.
How fast does it go?
The dual-motor build reaches up to 37 mph; the single-motor version is tuned for everyday commuting speeds. Rider weight and terrain move both numbers.
What range does it get?
25–28 miles per charge on either build — the dual’s larger battery offsets its second motor.
Which build should I pick?
Flat city streets and a tighter budget: single. Hills, a heavier load, or a taste for acceleration: dual. Best answer — ride both at one of our shops.
How does it handle bumps?
Front and rear spring suspension plus 10” pneumatic tires soak up potholes and rough pavement — a genuinely cushioned setup for this price.
Does it have turn signals?
Yes — integrated signals plus bright front and rear lights and a loud electronic horn.
How long does charging take?
8–9 hours on either battery — an overnight plug-in.
How heavy is it?
72.75 lbs, with a folding stem for trunks and storage.
Is it water resistant?
IP54 — light rain and damp roads are fine, standing water is not. Never charge a wet or swollen battery — bring it straight in to us.
Can I test ride one?
Yes — and with the G2, you really should try both versions: find your nearest Wilson’s shop.
Who services it?
Our technicians, in the shop — tires, brakes, diagnostics and everything else, any brand, any issue.
