Teewing X4: the folding dual-motor e-scooter
Two 2800W motors, a 60V 33Ah battery rated for 62 miles, hydraulic discs and suspension at both ends, and a frame and handlebar that fold to fit a car boot. The seat, mirrors, bag, lock and pump are in the box. At 100 lbs and 5600W it sits just under the X5 in Teewing’s range, at the same weight.

Standing, and in the boot
The stem folds onto the deck and the handlebar folds in on itself, taking the X4 from 52 inches tall to under 22. That is the difference between an e-scooter that lives in the garage and one that goes in the back of a hatchback, up in the lift, or under a desk. At 100 lbs it is a two-person lift into a boot, and a one-person wheel everywhere else.

Two 2800W motors, one switch
A 2800W brushless motor in each wheel. On one motor the X4 is a quiet, efficient commuter; press the dual-motor switch and both wheels drive, which is what gives it a 45 degree climbing figure and its 52 mph maximum. Teewing’s own advice is to run dual on steep hills and above 40 mph, where two driven wheels keep it planted.
Large capacity battery
A 60V 33Ah pack inside the deck, rated by Teewing at up to 62 miles. Real range depends on rider weight, terrain and how much time you spend in Turbo on both motors; for a daily commute it is a once-a-week charge.

Lighting system

Modes, brakes and damping
Multiple driving modes
The LCD offers Low, Medium and High, and two handlebar switches toggle Eco or Turbo and single or dual motor. Between them the X4 can be a gentle path machine or a full-power climber, and we set it up for the rider at handover.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Widened 160mm hydraulic discs front and rear with electronic braking on top, on 11 inch tubeless off-road tires. The same lever pressure gives the same stop on the last descent of the day as the first.
Damping system
Dual hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a mono damping shock at the rear, tuned for stability at speed on broken pavement and rough ground rather than a soft bounce.
X4, X5 or Z4 Pro
The X4 and X5 share a chassis, weight and box contents; the X5 steps up in motor and battery. The Z4 Pro is the bigger 13 inch machine with a removable battery.

The X4 reaches 52 mph in dual-motor mode, and Teewing ship it limited to public-road speeds. The high-performance modes are rider-set and intended for private property and off-road use; e-scooter rules vary by state and city. We set the modes with you at handover.
