Suspension

A swingarm at each end, and you set the firmness

The Ausom Gosoul 2 electric scooter rides on ShocFree dual swingarm suspension, front and rear. Instead of letting every seam in the pavement travel up through the stem, the swingarms pivot with the road, which steadies the deck at speed and takes the sting out of a pothole you saw too late.

The damping is adjustable. A heavier rider can firm it up; someone who wants a softer roll through city side streets can back it off. Riders who come through our shops set it once and rarely touch it again.

Power

1100W peak, 28 mph, and a 20% grade

The rear hub motor peaks at 1100W with 26Nm of torque. In practice that means pulling away from a light ahead of traffic and holding 28 mph where it is legal to. Rated for a 20% climbing grade, it keeps its pace up the kind of bridge approaches and hills that slow lesser commuters to a walk.

It carries up to 287 lbs, so a bigger rider with a loaded backpack is well inside the limit rather than at the edge of it.

Range

Up to 44 miles on one charge

The 48V 13Ah battery holds 624Wh, good for up to 44 miles under ideal conditions. Ridden hard, in cold weather or up a lot of hills, the number comes down, as it does on every e-scooter. Even so, a typical NYC round-trip commute fits several times over before the charger comes out.

A full charge takes 6.5 hours from the included 54.6V charger, so an overnight plug-in covers the week's short hops. Never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.

Tires

Tubeless 10" x 2.5" rubber, made for real streets

Ten-inch tires with a 2.5-inch footprint put real rubber on the road, and the tubeless construction resists punctures far better than an inner tube. Wet pavement, painted lines, a stretch of light gravel by the park: the Gosoul 2 grips through all of it without drama.

Best pressure is 44 to 50 PSI. When a tire does eventually need attention, any of our shops handles it while you wait.

Braking

Discs at both wheels, E-ABS behind them

Mechanical disc brakes front and rear do the physical stopping. E-ABS does the electronic part: the moment you squeeze a lever, motor power cuts, so the machine is never driving against its own brakes. The result is a shorter, calmer stop in exactly the situation that matters, a light changing two car lengths ahead.

Squeaky discs after the first wet week? That is normal bedding-in on most e-scooters we see. Our technicians check and true brakes as part of any service visit.

Ausom Gosoul 2 electric scooter display with NFC card, phone NFC and passcode unlock icons

Three ways to unlock, no key to lose

Tap an NFC card, tap your phone, or type a passcode on the 4.5-inch LCD display. Three cards come in the box, so one lives in your wallet and a spare stays home. Anyone without one is looking at an anti-theft locked machine.

Lit from every angle

A bright headlight up front, a taillight behind, turn signals on both sides and ambient accent lighting along the body. Drivers see you signal before you move, which on a dark commute is worth more than any spec number.

One motion and it fits in a trunk

The quick-fold mechanism drops the stem in one smooth movement, taking the Gosoul 2 from 53.5 inches tall to a 21.3-inch package that slides into a car trunk or stands in a hallway. Train-then-ride commutes work exactly as they should.

Room to stand like a person

The deck measures 20.5 by 7.3 inches, wide enough to stand with both feet planted rather than heel-to-toe. Above it, a 28.3-inch swallow-shaped handlebar keeps your wrists at a natural angle on longer rides.

Questions

Ausom Gosoul 2 electric scooter FAQ

How fast does the Ausom Gosoul 2 electric scooter go?

Its top speed is 28 mph, driven by a rear hub motor with 1100W of peak power. Local speed limits for e-scooters vary, so ride to the rules where you live; in NYC the limit on most streets is lower than the machine's maximum.

How far can the Gosoul 2 go on one charge?

Up to 44 miles under ideal conditions from its 48V 13Ah (624Wh) battery. Real-world range depends on rider weight, speed, hills and temperature, so plan around a comfortable margin below the maximum for daily use.

How long does the battery take to charge?

About 6.5 hours from empty with the included 54.6V 2A charger. An overnight charge covers it. Never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.

How much weight can the Gosoul 2 carry?

The maximum load is 287 lbs. That is a genuinely high ceiling for a commuter e-scooter at this price, and it means most riders carry a bag or groceries without thinking about the limit.

Can it climb hills?

The Gosoul 2 is rated for a 20% climbing grade, which handles bridge approaches, parking ramps and most city hills. Grade, rider weight and battery level all affect climbing pace.

Does the Ausom Gosoul 2 have suspension?

Yes, ShocFree dual swingarm suspension at both wheels, and the damping is adjustable so you can tune it firmer or softer to suit your weight and roads.

What kind of brakes does it have?

Mechanical disc brakes on both wheels plus E-ABS, which cuts motor power the instant you squeeze either lever. The combination shortens stops and keeps them predictable in traffic.

How does the NFC unlock work?

Wake the Gosoul 2 by tapping one of the three included NFC cards on the display, tapping an NFC-capable phone, or entering a passcode. There is no physical key, and the machine stays locked to anyone without one of the three.

Is the Gosoul 2 waterproof?

It carries an IP54 rating, which covers riding through light rain and splashes from the road. It is protection for riding in weather rather than for submersion, and charging should always happen with the e-scooter dry.

Does the Gosoul 2 fold? Will it fit in a car?

Yes. One quick-fold motion takes it from 53.5 inches tall to a folded package of 49 x 28.3 x 21.3 inches, which fits a car trunk, a hallway or a spot beside a desk.

How heavy is the Ausom Gosoul 2?

61.5 lbs. That weight buys the suspension, the big battery and the 287 lb load rating, and it folds compactly for a trunk. It is built to be ridden to the door rather than carried up many flights.

What rider height does it fit?

Ausom recommends riders from 4'11" to 6'7". The 20.5 x 7.3 inch deck and 28.3-inch handlebar give taller riders real standing room, and the best way to confirm fit is to stand on one at any of our shops.

Is the Gosoul 2 good for commuting?

It is built for exactly that: up to 44 miles of range, suspension tuned for broken city pavement, tubeless tires that shrug off debris, full lighting with turn signals, and NFC unlock so leaving is a tap rather than a ritual.

What age is the Gosoul 2 for?

Ausom intends it for riders aged 16 and older. Local rules on minimum riding age and where e-scooters may be ridden vary, so check yours.

Where can I test ride or service an Ausom electric scooter near me?

At any Wilson's shop near you. Test rides are free, and our technicians service any brand with express service at every one of our locations. Find your nearest shop.
