Nanrobot Lightning Pro: big-power moves, trunk-size fold
Two 800W motors, KKE hydraulic suspension and NFC keyless start in the most manageable package Nanrobot makes — 36 mph when you want it, folded into the trunk when you don’t. Sky Blue accents included.
Nanrobot’s own anatomy of the Lightning Pro

The details riders notice first
High-brightness headlight
A powerful beam that makes night riding comfortable, not just possible.
NFC display
Upgraded keyless start — tap the card against the display and go.
Quick-release motors
Brake disc and inner-tube swaps go from a chore to a few minutes’ work.
Easy to service
Connectors unplug instead of unsoldering — maintenance stays simple for the life of the machine.
40 miles rated — and the flat-out number too
The 48V 18.2Ah pack pairs prismatic lithium cells with a high-performance BMS. Nanrobot publishes both figures and so do we: up to 40 miles at an easy pace, and at least 20 miles even held at maximum speed. Charging takes 7–8 hours.

Two motors, one easy service day
Front and rear 800W hub motors pull the Lightning Pro up 30° slopes without drama and give it the dual-motor launch feel bigger machines are known for. Both run quick-release connectors, so wheel-off jobs don’t involve wiring surgery.
- 1,600W combined output
- 30° climbing capability
- Quick-release connectors at both wheels

More rotor, shorter stops
Dual disc brakes give the pads a larger friction surface — which is exactly what you want when scrubbing off speed from 36 mph — and the electronic braking system adds a second layer the moment you touch the lever.

KKE hydraulics on a commuter
Hydraulic suspension usually lives on flagship machines. The Lightning Pro carries front and rear KKE hydraulic units with swing arms and C-type geometry — cracked pavement and cobblestones arrive at your feet already softened.

Wide where it counts
The 8.5” pneumatic street tires trade sheer diameter for a wider, grippier footprint — better traction and stability in corners, with the air cushion soaking up vibration the way solid tires never can.

The one that actually fits
Folded to 46.5” × 26” × 20.9”, the Lightning Pro slides into car trunks that swallow no other dual-motor machine. The 8.5”-wide deck keeps the standing platform full-size while the footprint stays compact.
- Folded: 46.5” × 26” × 20.9”
- Deck width: 8.5”
- Also available with a detachable seat ($999)
