A children’s electric scooter is chosen by a parent, and the specification a parent actually wants is a ceiling they set. The NAVEE K100 kids electric scooter has three ride modes, and the app decides which of them the electric scooter will use.
Power assist
The gentlest setting. The motor helps rather than drives, so a first-time rider is still doing the work and learning the balance.
Steady cruise
A held, even pace. This is the setting most children spend most of their time in, and the one to leave it on for a park or a quiet street.
Sport
The top setting, taking the K100 to its rated 9.9 mph. Something to unlock when a rider has earned it rather than on day one.
The app holds the ceiling. Speed control lives in the NAVEE app, on your phone, not on the handlebar. You set what the electric scooter will do before you hand it over, and you can change it as your child gets more confident.

Sized for the rider, light enough for you
At 19 lbs the K100 is light enough for a child to right by themselves after a tumble, and light enough for you to carry back to the car when the ride is over before the walk is.
NAVEE rates it for ages 6 to 10 and up to 110 lbs, on 7-inch inner-hollow tires. Inner-hollow means solid rather than air-filled: nothing to inflate, nothing to puncture, nothing that needs a pump in the boot of the car.
The brake is a rear drum with a lever sized for a child’s hand, which is the part that makes stops predictable rather than sudden.
A full charge takes 3.5 hours from a 55Wh pack, and range is up to 8.7 miles.

A cartoon dashboard and colour-changing lights
A 4-inch LED display with what NAVEE calls a customised cartoon dashboard: speed, mode, battery level and light status, laid out so a child reads it at a glance instead of staring at it.
RGB ambient lighting that changes colour. It is the feature every child mentions first and it is also, usefully, the reason they are more visible at dusk.
IPX4 sealing handles splashes and a light shower.
One safety point worth stating plainly, as with every electric ride we sell: never charge a electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.

What age is the NAVEE K100 for?
NAVEE rates it for ages 6 to 10, with a maximum rider weight of 110 lbs. Fit is worth checking in person, and we are happy to do that in any of our shops.
Can I limit the speed?
Yes, and that is the point of the three modes. E is power assist, D is steady cruise and S is the top setting at the rated 9.9 mph. Which of them the electric scooter will use is set from the NAVEE app on your phone, not from the handlebar, so you decide the ceiling before you hand it over and raise it as your child gets more confident.
How fast does it go?
9.9 mph at the top setting. In the gentler modes it is slower, and the app decides which modes are available.
How far does it go on a charge?
Up to 8.7 miles. NAVEE measures that at 7.5 mph with a 66 lb rider, and they publish those conditions, which is more than most manufacturers do.
How long does it take to charge?
Three and a half hours from the 55Wh pack.
How much does it weigh?
19 lbs — light enough for a child to pick up after a tumble, and light enough for a parent to carry back to the car when the ride finishes before the walk does.
What kind of tires does it have?
Seven-inch inner-hollow tires, which are solid rather than air-filled. Nothing to inflate, nothing to puncture and no pump to keep in the car.

Is it waterproof?

Does the K100 fold?
No. The K100 has a fixed stem and a fixed handlebar height. If you want folding and an adjustable bar, that is the K100 Pro, which is rated for ages 6 to 14.
Does it have Apple Find My or a speaker?
Those are on the K100 Max, which adds Apple Find My, a Bluetooth speaker, a 12.4 mph top setting and a larger 110Wh battery.
What is the display like?
A 4-inch LED screen with a cartoon dashboard showing speed, mode, battery and light status, designed so a child takes it in at a glance. There is RGB ambient lighting too, which changes colour and makes them easier to see at dusk.

What warranty comes with it?
A year of cover through us as standard, and we handle any claim with NAVEE for you. NAVEE is a brand we carry rather than one we design, so the three-year cover on Wilson’s-designed rides does not apply here.
