56miles, one motor
The Ausom L2 Max electric scooter carries the same 998.4Wh battery, forged frame and three-inch tires as its dual motor sibling, and spends them on one efficient 1000W motor. The result is the range of the big machine at a friendlier price.
Built on the same bones as the L2 Max Dual
What changes is the drive: one 1000W motor with 1344W at peak, 31 mph, and eight pounds less to move around. For flat-city commuting, that is the efficient way to buy this platform; when your riding climbs hard or runs faster, the L2 Max Dual Motor is on the same floor.

One motor, tuned to pull
The 1000W brushless rear hub peaks at 1344W, enough for 31 mph and the climbing Ausom photographs it doing on quarry slopes. One driven wheel also means one motor sipping from the 998.4Wh pack, which is exactly how a single-motor machine earns a 56-mile rating.
Swingarms both ends, damping you set
ShocFree swingarms carry each wheel through broken pavement and packed trail, steadying the chassis at speed while soaking up the hits. The damping adjusts to rider weight and road, so the machine is set up for you rather than for an average.
Behind it, E-ABS and disc brakes at both wheels bring the speed back down, with rear brake lights telling traffic what you are doing.

Forged aluminum, 66 lbs all in
The forged 6061 frame shrugs off impacts and twisting loads, and the single motor build brings the whole machine to 66 lbs, the lightest way to own this chassis. It folds to 22 inches tall for a trunk or a hallway.
Two ports here as well
The dual charging sockets carry over from the top of the range. One included charger fills the pack; a second, available separately, halves the wait.
Never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.
Secured, connected, lit
NFC, passcode and a hidden AirTag mount
Three NFC cards in the box, a passcode as backup, and a concealed AirTag mount keeping it on your Find My map. Park mode locks the throttle by itself after thirty seconds standing.
Four lighting zones, joystick signals
Headlight ahead, brake lights behind, ambient deck lighting for your outline, and turn signals worked from a thumb joystick so signaling stays easy at speed.
10" x 3" thickened tubeless tires
Deep tread grips sand, gravel and wet pavement; the thickened casing adds shock absorption of its own and shrugs off punctures at 50 PSI.
A 21.6" x 7.3" deck rated to 287 lbs
Textured edge to edge with room to shift your stance, and dual folding locks above it so the stem stays rigid until you choose otherwise.
Sized for nearly every rider
Ausom recommends riders from 4'11" to 6'7" with a 287 lb maximum load, for ages 16 and up. It stands 56.5 inches tall unfolded, folds to 22 inches, and weighs 66 lbs. Two minutes on a floor model at your nearest Wilson's shop settles the fit question.

Ausom L2 Max electric scooter FAQ
How fast does the Ausom L2 Max single motor go?
Up to 31 mph from its 1000W motor, which peaks at 1344W. E-scooter speed limits vary by city and state, so ride to your local rules.
How far does the L2 Max go on one charge?
Up to 56 miles from the 48V 20.8Ah (998.4Wh) battery under standard conditions, the same pack and rating as the dual motor L2 Max. Hills, pace and rider weight decide the real figure, so plan with a margin below the rating.
What is the difference between the L2 Max and the L2 Max Dual Motor?
The frame, battery, tires, suspension, security and deck are identical. The dual motor version adds a second motor for 38 mph and stronger climbing, weighs about eight pounds more, and costs a step more. The single motor version rides the same platform to 31 mph with the same 56-mile rating, and is the efficient pick for flat-city commuting. Both are on our floors to compare.
How long does the L2 Max take to charge?
About 14 hours on the included 1.5A charger, or about 7 hours using both charging ports with a second charger, available separately. Never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.
Can the L2 Max climb hills?
Its technical specification lists a 40% climbing grade, far steeper than any paved street climb you are likely to meet, and the deep-tread tires keep the driven wheel gripping on loose ground.
Does the L2 Max have an AirTag mount?
Yes, a hidden mount sized for an Apple AirTag, alongside the NFC and passcode locks. Parked in public, it stays locked and on your Find My map.
Can it charge my phone?
Yes. USB-A and USB-C outputs on the bar keep a phone, GPS or action camera charged while you ride.
Does the L2 Max have brake lights and turn signals?
Yes. Rear brake lights come on under braking, and turn signals are worked from a thumb joystick, alongside the headlight and ambient deck lighting.
What is Park mode?
After thirty seconds of inactivity the throttle locks automatically, so a bumped throttle cannot launch the machine. A press of the Plus button wakes it.
Is the folding mechanism secure?
The stem uses dual folding locks, so it stays rigid while riding and folds only when you release both. Folded, it stands 22 inches tall and fits a car trunk.
How heavy is the L2 Max?
66 lbs, the lightest machine built on this frame-and-battery platform. It rolls into trunks and elevators rather than being carried far.
How much weight can it carry?
Up to 287 lbs on the 21.6 x 7.3 inch textured deck.
Is the L2 Max OK in the rain?
Its IP54 rating covers light rain and road splash, and the tread is cut for wet pavement. Let it dry before charging.
What rider height fits the L2 Max?
Ausom recommends riders from 4'11" to 6'7", for ages 16 and up. The wide deck and 27.1-inch bar give that whole span a planted stance; a floor model settles it in two minutes.
Where can I test ride or service an Ausom electric scooter near me?
At your nearest Wilson's shop, across New York and California. Test rides are free, and our technicians service any brand with express service at every location. Find your nearest shop.
