NAVEE ST3 Pro

One junction, start to finish

The comfort flagship of the ST3 family is not one headline number. It is a lot of small decisions that only show up in the riding. So rather than list them, here is a single junction on an ordinary commute, and the part of the NAVEE ST3 Pro electric scooter that answers each stage of it.

APPROACH

You come down the hill towards it

The road surface into most junctions is the worst on the route — patched, sunken, ridged where the buses stop. Four Damping Arms, two at each end, meter the return of every one of those hits instead of springing it back at you.

DUAL DAMPING ARM™ SUSPENSION, FRONT AND REAR
BRAKE

The light changes and you brake

Three systems share it: a sealed front drum, a rear disc, and EABS braking electronically through the motor. NAVEE measures the result as 22% shorter than a single-disc setup, tested to ASTM F2641 at 25 mph. The energy recovery system puts charge back into the pack while you slow.

FRONT DRUM + REAR DISC + EABS · 15% MORE ENERGY RECOVERED
WAIT

You wait, with a foot down

The deck is 190 mm across and the grips are shaped to keep your hands from tiring on a long ride. Small things, until the fourth junction of the morning.

190 MM DECK · ERGONOMIC GRIPS
GO

Green, and you pull away

Six hundred watts rated, 1350 peak. That headroom is what takes up the slack immediately rather than gathering itself first, and it is rated to a 28% gradient if the junction happens to be on a hill.

600W RATED · 1350W PEAK · 28% CLIMBING
SIGNAL

You signal, and you are gone

Automatic 2W headlights that came on by themselves as the light dropped, front turn indicators and a rear tail light. Then 24.9 mph, with 46.6 miles in the pack and self-sealing tubeless tires under you.

What makes the NAVEE ST3 Pro electric scooter ride the way it does

Dual Damping Arm suspension. NAVEE’s own design, developed specifically for urban roads rather than trails, and fitted here at both ends. A plain spring gives a bump straight back; a damping arm meters the return, so the wheel settles rather than bouncing.

Ten-inch self-sealing tubeless tires. The sheet lists them as self-sealing, with a gel layer NAVEE rates to close punctures up to 4 mm. No inner tube means nothing to pinch either.

A 48V 12.75Ah pack at 596.7Wh, rated at 46.6 miles at 9 mph or 28 miles held at 20 mph. A full charge takes ten hours.

It carries up to 265 lbs, at 55.8 lbs net itself, and folds to 1200 by 600 by 596 mm.

Choosing

ST3 Pro or ST3

They share a frame, a deck, the Damping Arm suspension at both ends, the triple brake system, automatic lighting, the folded size and the 265 lb rating. What separates them is what is behind the throttle.

The ST3 runs a 1000W peak and a 477.4Wh pack, for 37 miles and a 24% climb, at 54.7 lbs and an eight-hour charge.

The ST3 Pro steps to a 1350W peak and a 596.7Wh pack, for 46.6 miles and a 28% climb. It gains one pound and two hours of charging for nearly ten extra miles.

If your route has hills or your week has distance in it, the Pro is the one. If it does not, the ST3 rides identically for less.

Questions

NAVEE ST3 Pro, answered

How fast is the NAVEE ST3 Pro and how far does it go?

NAVEE's specification sheet gives 24.9 mph, with 46.6 miles at a steady 9 mph or 28 miles held at 20 mph from the 596.7Wh pack. A summary card on their page reads 20 mph; we publish the sheet figure and have raised the difference with them.

What is Dual Damping Arm suspension?

NAVEE's own design, fitted at both ends — four arms in total. A plain spring returns the energy of a bump immediately; a damping arm meters that return so the wheel settles instead of bouncing. It was developed specifically for city roads rather than trails.

Are the tires puncture resistant?

The sheet lists 10-inch self-sealing tubeless tires. NAVEE rates the gel layer to close punctures up to 4 mm, and with no inner tube there is nothing to pinch either.

What braking system does it use?

Three together: a sealed front drum, a rear disc and EABS electronic regenerative braking. NAVEE measures the result as 22% shorter stopping than a single-disc setup, tested to ASTM F2641 at 25 mph.

How steep a hill can it climb?

28% gradeability, from a 600W rated motor with a 1350W peak.

How long does the ST3 Pro take to charge?

Ten hours from a standard household outlet, which makes it an overnight charge. With 46.6 miles available you need one about once a week on an average commute.

Is it waterproof?

It carries an IPX5 rating, so light rain and wet roads are within it. Avoid standing water. One safety point worth stating plainly: never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.

How much weight can it carry?

265 lbs.

How heavy is it and does it fold?

55.8 lbs net, folding to 1200 by 600 by 596 mm. That fits a car boot and stands behind a door.

Does it have lights and indicators?

Yes — automatic 2W headlights that come on by themselves as the light drops, front turn indicators and a rear tail light.

What is the energy recovery system?

Regenerative braking that returns charge to the pack every time you brake or ease off the throttle. NAVEE quotes 15% more energy recovered with it than without.

Does it have traction control and Apple Find My?

Both. TCS trims power the moment the driven wheel spins faster than the road under it, and Apple Find My is built in.

ST3 Pro or ST3?

Identical frames and ride hardware. The ST3 has a 1000W peak, 37 miles and a 24% climb, charging in eight hours at 54.7 lbs. The ST3 Pro adds a 1350W peak, 46.6 miles and a 28% climb for one extra pound and two extra hours on charge.

ST3 Pro or UT5 Max?

The UT5 Max is a bigger machine: hydraulic suspension, 12-inch self-healing tires, 31.1 mph, 62.1 miles and a 330 lb rating at 75 lbs. The ST3 Pro is twenty pounds lighter and easier to live with in a flat.

What warranty comes with it?

A year of cover through us as standard, and we handle any claim with NAVEE for you. NAVEE is a brand we carry rather than one we design, so the three-year cover on Wilson’s-designed rides does not apply here.

Who services it, and can you get parts?

Our own technicians, at all six shops, with express service available at every one. We service any brand, whether you bought it from us or not.
