The Kaabo King GTR, bred from an off-road dynasty

Kaabo's racing lineage distilled into one machine: dual detachable 2000W motors, hydraulic suspension at both ends, a removable UL-certified LG battery, and the stability hardware to make all of it usable.

3.5s to 31 mph

That is the number you feel first. Two 2000W motors peak at 13,440W together, launching the King GTR from a standstill to 31 mph in three and a half seconds and carrying on to 65 mph capability. The throttle rewards a careful hand; the reserve underneath it never runs out on a public road.

Suspension

Motorcycle forks, measured in millimeters

Kaabo publishes its suspension work in engineering terms. The adjustable two-arm motorcycle front shock grew from 10mm to 12mm in this generation, and the rear runs an oil-pressure damper with 18 spring-damping levels. Set together they tune the King GTR from plush trail manners to race-firm road holding, wrench in hand, in minutes.

Dual shocks carrying real rubber

The rear suspension pairs with 12-inch self-healing CST tires in 100/55-7 sizing. The self-healing casing seals small punctures as they happen, which on a machine ridden at this pace is the difference between finishing a ride and walking 139 lbs home. Grip covers asphalt, dirt and desert equally.

Detachable motors

Motors that unbolt, and grew to 7 inches

Both hub motors detach, so a motor or tire swap is a workshop job measured in minutes rather than an afternoon. This generation's motor diameter grew from 6.5 to 7 inches: more torque, higher load handling, and better heat dissipation, which is what protects a motor's lifespan when the throttle gets used properly.

Braking

160mm hydraulic discs with ABS

Hydraulic calipers on 160mm discs at both wheels, with ABS keeping the wheels turning under panic braking. On a machine with this acceleration, the braking system is the half of the engineering you buy it for.

Battery

Removable, UL-certified, and honest about range

The 72V 35Ah pack runs LG INR21700-M50 cells with UL certification, a reinforced shock-, water- and fire-resistant housing, and Kaabo's battery management system. It lifts out to charge indoors, which makes apartment ownership of a machine this size genuinely practical.

Kaabo publishes both range numbers, and so do we: 112 miles rated at 15 mph on flat ground with a 165 lb rider, and 55+ miles in real-world riding at speed.

Questions

Kaabo King GTR FAQ

How fast is the Kaabo King GTR?

It is engineered for up to 65 mph, reaching 31 mph from a standstill in 3.5 seconds. Those are capability figures: public street limits sit far below them everywhere, so where and how fast you ride is governed by your local rules.

What is the real range of the King GTR?

Kaabo publishes both numbers and we repeat both: 112 miles rated at 15 mph on flat ground with a 165 lb rider, and 55+ miles in real-world riding at speed. Terrain, pace and rider weight decide where between them your ride lands.

Is the King GTR battery removable?

Yes. The UL-certified 72V 35Ah LG pack lifts out to charge indoors, which is what makes apartment ownership practical. Charge only when dry, and never charge a pack that looks swollen or damaged; bring it straight in to us instead.

Why does the battery ship in a separate box?

Large lithium packs ship under transport-safety rules, so Kaabo sends the battery separately. Installing it is part of the ten-minute setup: fit the handlebar, click the battery in, and ride.

What does "detachable motors" mean?

Both hub motors unbolt from the swingarms, so motor and tire service is fast and straightforward. This generation's motors also grew from 6.5 to 7 inches in diameter, adding power handling and heat dissipation.

What are the five riding modes?

Sport for full performance, ESP for stability-managed delivery, Pedestrian for walking-pace zones, Anti-theft to lock it where it stands, and Auto Memory, which keeps your settings between rides.

What suspension does the King GTR have?

An adjustable two-arm motorcycle-grade front shock, upgraded from 10mm to 12mm in this generation, and a rear oil-pressure damper adjustable through 18 spring-damping levels.

What are self-healing tires?

The 12-inch CST tires carry a casing that seals small punctures as they happen, so debris that would flatten a normal tire usually costs you nothing. Pressure checks are still worth the habit.

How long does the King GTR take to charge?

About 8.5 hours on the two included 2A chargers through its dual ports, or about 3.5 hours with dual 5A fast chargers, which are sold separately.

Can the King GTR handle rain?

It carries an IPX5 rating, the strongest water-resistance rating on our Kaabo shelf, covering rain and road spray. Dry it before charging, always.

How heavy is the King GTR?

139 lbs. It folds for a van or SUV, the removable battery takes weight out for lifting, and it is best owned with a garage or an elevator.

King GTR or King GTR Max — what is the difference?

The Max carries the larger 40Ah Samsung pack and the 124-mile rating; the GTR runs the 35Ah LG pack, weighs nine pounds less, and costs $600 less at Black-on-Black. Same frame family, same brakes, same 65 mph engineering. Both are on our floor to compare.

Is the King GTR a good first electric scooter?

It is built for experienced riders: this acceleration rewards throttle discipline and full protective gear, with a motorcycle-grade helmet the right choice at these speeds. Earlier in your riding, the Kaabo range starts far more gently, and riding a few models back to back at one of our shops finds your level honestly.

How much assembly does it need?

About ten minutes: attach the handlebar, install the battery, charge and ride. Buy it from one of our shops and it rolls out the door done.

Where can I test ride or service a Kaabo electric scooter near me?

At your nearest Wilson's shop, across New York and California. Test rides are free, and our technicians service any brand with express service at every location. Find your nearest shop.
