Fifty-one miles, counted in days
Range in miles is an abstraction. Days between charges is not. The NAVEE NT5 Max electric scooter carries 596.7Wh and NAVEE rates it at 51.6 miles, so here is what an ordinary commuting week looks like on one charge.
A ten-mile round trip, five days running, comes in under NAVEE’s rated 51.6 miles. That is one charge a week, on a Friday night, and nothing to think about in between.

What the NT5 Max returns at each speed
Most manufacturers publish one range figure and leave the test conditions unstated. NAVEE publishes two, and names the speed for each. It is a small thing that tells you a lot about how the numbers were arrived at.
The headline, measured at a gentle pace. This is the figure that turns into a week of ten-mile commutes on one charge.
The figure for riding it hard, which almost nobody prints. Useful precisely because it sets the other end of the bracket.
Your own number lands between the two, set by speed, rider weight, terrain and temperature. NAVEE’s own estimate for everyday mixed riding on this pack is 30 to 45 miles.
Where the NAVEE NT5 Max electric scooter finds its pace
The rated figure is what the motor will hold all day. The peak is what it delivers when you ask for everything at once, and at 1900W the NT5 Max has more peak headroom than the dual-motor NT5 Ultra X gives either of its wheels individually.
That headroom is what you feel pulling away from a light with traffic behind you, and it is what carries a 32% gradient without the speed bleeding away halfway up.
Top speed is 31 mph. The 330 lb load rating is the highest NAVEE publishes, so a rider plus a full backpack plus a week’s shopping is well inside it.
Traction control is fitted as standard, trimming power the instant the driven wheel starts turning faster than the road underneath it.

Ninety minutes, if you are in a hurry
Flash charge in 1.5 hours. A standard fill takes five to six, which is an overnight. But the flash mode gets the 596.7Wh pack back in ninety minutes, which turns a lunch break into most of a tank. It is the shortest flash-charge time in the NAVEE electric scooter range.
IPX6 sealing. A step above the IPX5 on the GT5 Max, rated for heavier water than road splash.
Dual disc brakes with EABS. A disc at each end plus electronic regenerative braking through the motor, which returns a little charge as it slows you.
Front dual telescopic and rear damping arm suspension. Two telescopic legs at the front rather than one, which keeps the front wheel tracking straight under hard braking.
It folds to 1250 by 625 by 645 mm at 72.1 lbs net, which fits a car boot and stands against a wall.
- Charge — 5–6 h, or 1.5 h flash
- Brakes — dual disc plus EABS
- Suspension — front dual telescopic, rear damping arm
- Sealing — IPX6
- Net weight — 72.1 lbs

It appears next to your keys
Apple Find My is built into the NT5 Max, so it shows up in the same app as your phone, your headphones and your keys. No separate account, no separate map.
The NAVEE app handles the rest: speed modes, battery health, locking, and firmware. Set it up the day you take the electric scooter home rather than a month later, because tracking only helps if it is already switched on.
We do that setup in the shop before you leave, and pair it to your phone while you are standing there.

NAVEE NT5 Max, answered
What is the top speed and real-world range of the NAVEE NT5 Max?
It reaches 31 mph, and NAVEE rates the range at 51.6 miles measured at a steady 9.3 mph, or 21.8 miles at a sustained 24.9 mph. For everyday mixed riding NAVEE’s own estimate is 30 to 45 miles from the 596.7Wh pack. For a ten-mile round-trip commute that is comfortably a full working week on one charge.
How long does the NT5 Max take to charge?
Five to six hours from a standard outlet, or about 1.5 hours in flash charge mode. That flash time is the quickest in the NAVEE electric scooter range, and it makes a lunch break worth plugging in for.
How steep a hill can it climb?
It is rated to a 32% gradeability. Bridge approaches, parking ramps and steep residential streets are all inside that, and the 1900W peak means the speed does not bleed away halfway up.
How much weight can the NT5 Max carry?
330 lbs, which is the highest load rating NAVEE publishes across their electric scooter line. Rider, backpack and a week of shopping sit well within it.
Is the NT5 Max waterproof?
It carries an IPX6 rating, so light rain and wet roads are within it. Avoid standing water. One safety point worth stating plainly: never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen or damaged. Bring it straight in to us instead.
What brakes does it have?
Dual disc brakes, one at each end, plus EABS electronic regenerative braking through the motor. The regenerative element returns a little charge to the pack as it slows you.
What suspension does it use?
Front dual telescopic legs with a rear damping arm. Two legs at the front rather than one keeps the wheel tracking straight under hard braking, which matters more at 31 mph than at 15.
Does it have traction control?
Yes. TCS trims power the moment the driven wheel starts turning faster than the road beneath it, which is what keeps it tracking straight on wet paint and drain covers.
Does the NT5 Max have Apple Find My?
Yes, built in. The electric scooter appears in the Find My app alongside your phone and keys, with no separate account. The NAVEE app handles speed modes, battery health, locking and firmware.
How heavy is it, and does it fold?
72.1 lbs net, folding to 1250 by 625 by 645 mm. That fits a car boot and stands against a wall. At that weight it is a machine you wheel rather than carry, so ground-floor or lift access makes ownership easier.
What size are the tires?
10.5-inch tubeless. With no inner tube there is nothing to pinch, so a puncture is far less likely to end a ride outright.
NT5 Max or NT5 Ultra X — which should I buy?
Same chassis, same tires, same suspension. The NT5 Ultra X adds a second motor, taking it to 40 mph and a 45% climb with a bigger 898.56Wh pack. The NT5 Max is 31 mph, 32% and $300 less. If your route is flat and fast, the Max covers it.
NT5 Max or UT5 Max?
The UT5 Max runs almost the same top speed with dual hydraulic suspension, 12-inch self-healing tires and 62.1 miles of range. It is the comfort-first choice; the NT5 Max is the lighter, quicker-charging one.
What warranty comes with it?
A year of cover through us as standard, and we handle any claim with NAVEE for you. NAVEE is a brand we carry rather than one we design, so the three-year cover on Wilson’s-designed rides does not apply here.
Who services it, and can you get parts?
Our own technicians, at all six shops, with express service available at every one. We service any brand, whether you bought it from us or not.
