Punk Rider Pro: pick your pace, and know the range before you ride
Most manufacturers publish one range figure and leave you to guess what happens when you actually use the throttle. Punk publish three — one for each ride mode, each with the speed it was measured at. That is the useful way round, and it is the honest way to choose between this and the Rider below it.

Three modes, three ranges
Same 52V 18Ah battery in all three. The only thing that changes is how fast you ask it to go — and the difference between the gentlest mode and the quickest one is nearly twice the distance.
Which one you live in decides everything. A five-mile commute in Sport still leaves you charging twice a week; the same ride in Normal is a Sunday-night job. Come in and we will set the mode you are actually going to use before you take it away.
Two 600W motors, and where the second one shows
Both wheels are driven, rated at 600W each and peaking at 2300W together. On a machine of this size the second motor is not really about the top speed — it is about the 20-degree incline rating, and about pulling away from a standstill on a hill without the front wheel doing all the work.
The controller is a 40-amp sine wave unit, which is the part you feel rather than see: power comes in smoothly off the throttle instead of arriving all at once.

Hydraulic at both levers, with regen behind them
Hydraulic discs front and rear. The difference against a cable-operated brake is consistency: the same finger pressure gives the same bite on the tenth stop of a ride as on the first, which is the property you want in traffic rather than outright power.
Regenerative braking works alongside them, so the gentle slowing you do at every junction puts a little back into the pack instead of into the pads.

Everything on one bar, lit on all four sides
An LED screen in the centre of the bar carries speed, battery and mode, with the controls either side of it. Nothing is buried in an app you have to unlock at a red light.
Lighting runs front, rear and along both sides of the deck — Punk call it 360-degree ambient, and the practical version of that is being visible to a car approaching from a side street, not just from directly behind.

Aerospace-grade aluminium, and tires that heal
The frame is 6061 aluminium reinforced with high-strength steel, rated to carry 260 lbs at 69 lbs of its own. Suspension is a rubber cartridge at each end — simple, sealed, and with nothing to service.
The tires are 10 by 3 inch self-healing tubeless, which is the specification that quietly matters most on a city machine: the sealant closes small punctures as they happen, so a nail on the way to work does not end the journey.

The 52V 18Ah pack is built from fifty-six 21700 lithium cells — the same format used in serious power tools and electric cars.
40A sine wave
A sine wave controller delivers power smoothly off the throttle rather than in a step, which is most of why a machine feels controlled at low speed.
6061 and steel
Aerospace-grade 6061 aluminium reinforced with high-strength steel, carrying a 260 lb rider rating on a 69 lb machine.
Where it is meant to go
Punk put the Rider Pro on streets, cycle lanes, sidewalks and hard-packed trails. The 10-inch tires and the rubber cartridges are what make that last one plausible — this is not an off-road machine, but a gravel path or a rutted park track is well within it.
