The GT33 is Riding’times’ cargo machine: a cafe-racer silhouette on 20 by 4 inch fat tires, with a reinforced A3 carbon steel frame rated to 330 lbs and bag mounts on both sides of the long seat. Grocery runs, a passenger, a beach day’s worth of gear; it carries what a normal e-bike makes you leave behind, and the full suspension keeps it comfortable while it does.

The battery is a quick-release 48V 27Ah pack good for 50 to 100 miles, and an independent spare rack takes a second one when a single pack is not enough. It comes in two configurations, with one battery or two. Riding’times recommend it for riders from 5’1” to 6’3”.

Battery

Extended power

A 48V 27Ah pack for serious mileage, and a built-in answer when one is not enough: the spare rack takes a second battery so a long trip or a spontaneous plan never ends at a socket.

Cargo

Heavy-duty comfort

The reinforced middle frame is built for real cargo life. Bags mount on both sides of the seat for balance, so a full load rides stable and controlled rather than lurching.

Suspension

Premium dual suspension

A hydraulic double-crown fork up front and a shock at the rear. Broken pavement, cracks and kerbs are smoothed out, your cargo is protected, and the ride stays comfortable on real streets.

Balance

Seat and frame

An elongated seat and a tall reinforced frame suit taller and heavier riders, and put the body in a natural line for long rides. Stable with cargo, stable with a passenger, agile with neither.

Two configurations

One battery, or two

The GT33 is sold with a single 48V 27Ah battery or with an extra one already on the spare rack. Both packs are the same quick-release 15 lb unit, so the second can also be added later.

Fit

Geometry, and who it fits

Riding’times recommend the GT33 for riders from 5’1” to 6’3”. The 34.8 inch seat height is the tallest in the range, part of what gives it room for a passenger and the ground clearance for a loaded frame.

Before you buy

Riding’times GT33 questions we get asked

How fast is the Riding’times GT33?
Riding’times rate the top speed at 31 mph. The throttle has three modes, listed at 15, 22 and 34 mph, and class 1 to 3 settings for the road you are on. We set it up for you at handover.
How far does it go on a charge?
50 to 100 miles per 48V 27Ah battery, depending on load, speed, terrain and temperature. With the extra battery on the spare rack you carry two.
Is the battery removable?
Yes. It is a 15 lb quick-release pack that lifts out to charge indoors on the 54.6V 3A charger in 8.5 to 9 hours.
What is the difference between the two versions?
Single Battery comes with one pack and the spare rack fitted empty. Extra Battery comes with a second pack already on the rack. The second pack can also be added later.
How much can it carry?
330 lbs in total, covering rider, passenger and cargo. Bags mount on both sides of the seat for balance.
Can two people ride it?
The long seat and 330 lb rating allow a passenger, within the load limit. Passenger rules vary by state and city, so check what is permitted where you ride, and make sure the passenger has secure seating and foot support.
Is it street legal?
Riding’times build it with class 1 to 3 settings and a speed-limit mode. Which class is legal on which road depends on your state and city; set the limit accordingly and check local rules. We are happy to talk it through in the shop.
What height rider does it fit?
Riding’times recommend 5’1” to 6’3”, with a 34.8 inch seat height. Shorter riders may prefer the Z8 Pro.
What suspension does it have?
A hydraulic double-crown front fork and a rear shock, on reinforced steel legs. We set it for your weight and load at handover.
What brakes does it have?
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with electronic braking from the motor.
Can it go off-road?
Sand, gravel, grass and dirt are fine on the 20 by 4 inch fat tires and full suspension. Riding’times photograph it on dunes and desert tracks.
Can I ride it in the rain?
It is rated IPX4, which covers splashes and spray. Never pressure-wash it, and never charge a machine that is wet or whose battery looks swollen or damaged; bring it straight in to us.
How heavy is it?
105 lbs net. It is a machine you ride and wheel rather than lift.
GT33 or Z8 Pro?
Both are moped-style fat tire e-bikes. The GT33 is the cargo one: taller, stronger frame, 330 lb rating, bag mounts and a spare battery rack. The Z8 Pro is smaller and comes with two batteries as standard.
Do you have it in stock?
Stock moves. Call (516) 300-0944 or come in and we will tell you where the nearest one is.
Can I pay in instalments, and who services it?
Financing is available on the GT33. Servicing is by our technicians in the shop, with express service at every one of our locations, on any brand and any issue.
