Riding’times GT33: built to carry more, go further
The GT33 is Riding’times’ cargo machine: a cafe-racer silhouette on 20 by 4 inch fat tires, with a reinforced A3 carbon steel frame rated to 330 lbs and bag mounts on both sides of the long seat. Grocery runs, a passenger, a beach day’s worth of gear; it carries what a normal e-bike makes you leave behind, and the full suspension keeps it comfortable while it does.
The battery is a quick-release 48V 27Ah pack good for 50 to 100 miles, and an independent spare rack takes a second one when a single pack is not enough. It comes in two configurations, with one battery or two. Riding’times recommend it for riders from 5’1” to 6’3”.

Four things it was designed around

Extended power
A 48V 27Ah pack for serious mileage, and a built-in answer when one is not enough: the spare rack takes a second battery so a long trip or a spontaneous plan never ends at a socket.

Heavy-duty comfort
The reinforced middle frame is built for real cargo life. Bags mount on both sides of the seat for balance, so a full load rides stable and controlled rather than lurching.

Premium dual suspension
A hydraulic double-crown fork up front and a shock at the rear. Broken pavement, cracks and kerbs are smoothed out, your cargo is protected, and the ride stays comfortable on real streets.

Seat and frame
An elongated seat and a tall reinforced frame suit taller and heavier riders, and put the body in a natural line for long rides. Stable with cargo, stable with a passenger, agile with neither.
One battery, or two
The GT33 is sold with a single 48V 27Ah battery or with an extra one already on the spare rack. Both packs are the same quick-release 15 lb unit, so the second can also be added later.

Single battery
One 48V 27Ah pack in the frame. The spare rack is fitted and empty, ready for a second pack whenever you want it.

Extra battery
A second pack on the spare rack from day one, for riders who want the longest day or run the GT33 for deliveries and errands all week.
Eight details Riding’times photograph

Brake system
Dual hydraulic discs with electronic assist, sized for stopping under a full load.

Dual battery support
A quick-release 27Ah pack in the frame; swap it in seconds, or hang a second on the rack.

Powerful motor
1350W peak with 258 Nm at the wheel, beside a Shimano cassette for real pedalling.

Comfortable seat
An extended ergonomic saddle that fits taller riders and leaves room for a passenger.

Rear suspension
A rear shock that keeps the loaded back end planted over cracks and kerbs.

Bright headlight
A round LED lamp in the cafe-racer tradition, bright enough for an unlit lane.

Ignition key start
Keyed ignition, so it does not start without you and a younger rider cannot start it alone.

Front tire
Twenty by four inch fat tires with an aggressive tread for sand, gravel, pavement and dirt.

Geometry, and who it fits
Riding’times recommend the GT33 for riders from 5’1” to 6’3”. The 34.8 inch seat height is the tallest in the range, part of what gives it room for a passenger and the ground clearance for a loaded frame.

A cargo bike should be fitted, not unboxed
A 105 lb machine with a 34.8 inch seat and a rack of bags is a fitting job. We build it, set the class and the suspension for you, and show you how the bags and the second battery mount.
