Coil-over springs at both ends, hydraulic brakes on both wheels, an 864Wh battery and a frame that won a Red Dot award for the way it looks doing it. The TITAN is what Hiboy builds when nothing has to be trimmed to hit a price.
The motor is rated at 750W. Hiboy offers the TITAN with an optional BOSCH motor that peaks at 1,200W, and a standard motor version alongside it. Ask us which one is in the unit you are looking at, and we will tell you before you buy.

The TITAN does not hide its chassis behind plastic. The head tube, the fork crown and the deck rails are all exposed 6061 aluminum, which is both the reason it carries 300 lbs and the reason it won a Red Dot award for design.
It weighs 77.1 lbs. That is a machine you park rather than carry, and the ride quality is the direct result: mass low and centered, nothing flexing under you when the throttle opens.

Coil-overs and hydraulics
Real coil-over shocks front and rear, the sort you can see working. They are what let a 10-inch wheel deal with a broken curb edge at speed instead of transmitting it. Underneath, 14.5 cm of ground clearance keeps the deck off what the tires ride over.
Both wheels get hydraulic brakes. Hydraulics pull harder for less hand pressure than a cable, and they hold that feel as the pads wear, which matters more the faster and heavier the ride is.

Most electric scooters do not. The TITAN is sized for riders between 5′3″ and 6′4″, and the deck and bar dimensions below are why: there is room to stand square rather than in line.
Seen, and told what it is doing
Twin headlights on the stem, a taillight that brightens under braking, and ambient lighting along the deck rails that gives the ride a side profile after dark. Being visible from the side is what saves you at junctions.
A 3.5-inch LED display sits center bar with speed, battery and mode. The control cluster beside the grip handles power, modes and the readouts, and there is a loud electric horn on the bar. Throttle is a half twist with zero start, so it only pulls once you are already moving.

864 watt hours, in 21700 cells
48V and 18Ah works out at 864 watt hours, which is roughly double what a commuter electric scooter carries. It is built from 21700 cells rather than the older 18650 format, so more of that energy sits in the same deck volume.
Hiboy rates it at 46 miles, and a full charge takes six and a half to seven and a half hours. At 28 mph you will see less than 46; ridden at commuting speed you will see more of it than you expect.

How fast is the Hiboy TITAN?
28 mph, the fastest electric scooter Hiboy makes. Check your local rules before riding at that speed; New York City caps electric scooters at 20 mph.
What is the range on a charge?
Up to 46 miles from the 48V 18Ah, 864Wh battery. Speed, rider weight, terrain and temperature all change what you actually see.
What motor does it have?

How steep a hill can it climb?
Hiboy rates it to a 25% grade, which covers bridges, steep city streets and moderate trail climbs. Rider weight and battery level both affect it.
What brakes does it use?
Hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels. They need less hand pressure than cable brakes and hold their feel as the pads wear.
Does it have suspension?
Coil-over shocks front and rear, visible on both ends of the frame. Combined with 10-inch gel-filled tubeless tires and 14.5 cm of ground clearance, it handles gravel and broken pavement as well as smooth road.
Do the tires need pumping up?
No. They are gel-filled and tubeless, so there is no inner tube to pinch and no pressure to keep on top of.
How tall do I need to be?
Hiboy sizes it for riders from 5′3″ to 6′4″. The 24.4 by 10.2 inch deck and 25.2 inch bar are what set that range. Come and stand on one at any of our shops.
How much does it weigh, and does it fold?
77.1 lbs, folding to 22.8 inches tall. It fits a car trunk. At this weight most riders load it rather than carry it up stairs.
What is the maximum rider weight?
300 lbs, or 136 kg. That is the highest capacity in the Hiboy range, and the 6061 aluminum frame is what carries it.
Can I ride it in the rain?
The ride is rated IPX4 and the battery IPX5, so rain and splashes are within what it is built for. One safety point worth stating plainly: never charge an electric scooter that is wet, or one whose battery looks swollen. Bring it straight in to us instead.
Is it suitable for a first electric scooter?
It is a lot of machine. Riders with some experience get the most from it, and anyone new to 28 mph should spend time in a lower mode first. If you are unsure, ride one of ours before you decide.
