INMOTION V14 PRO: the wheel with a rising-rate spring
Almost every suspended electric unicycle uses a coil that pushes back the same amount however far it is squashed. INMOTION built the V14 with a progressive spring instead — soft at the top of the stroke, much stiffer at the bottom. That single decision is what lets one wheel be comfortable on a broken road and still refuse to bottom out on a landing.

What a progressive spring actually does
A linear spring resists compression evenly. Soft enough for small bumps means it runs out of travel on a big hit; firm enough for a landing means it rattles you over everything else. A progressive spring gets stiffer the further it compresses, so it can be both.
Two different stiffnesses, front and rear
INMOTION were first to put a progressive spring in an electric unicycle, and they publish what it is set to: the front end and the rear end are deliberately different, because a wheel does not load them equally when you are braking into a rut or driving out of one.
INMOTION describe the system as an adaptable leverage ratio with a progressive shock, running 85mm of travel. In plain terms: the linkage changes what the spring feels as the stroke goes on, on top of the spring's own rising rate.
The two numbers INMOTION raised
The PRO is not a trim level. INMOTION state exactly what moved, and both figures are the ones that decide how a wheel this size feels under power.
Torque is the one to care about on an off-road wheel. Speed is what a machine will eventually reach; torque is what it does the instant you lean into a climb, and 276 N·m with 850N of tractive force at the tire is what carries the V14 PRO up things other wheels walk around.
A C40 magnetic steel motor, and what it pulls
4000W rated, 9000W peak, through a motor INMOTION build around C40 magnetic steel. The figure that matters off-road is the 850N of tractive force at the tire — that is the wheel's ability to convert all of that into forward movement on a surface that is not helping.
The climbing rating is 50 degrees. That is a number you will not use often and will be very glad of the day you do.

Pads you can set, pedals that hold
On a wheel, your shins and your feet are the controls. The V14 PRO ships with power pads on pre-applied Velcro, so you can move them and set them loose for cruising or tight for jumping without any hardware. INMOTION ship two different pad shapes and which one arrives is not selectable — they say so themselves, and we would rather you heard it from us first.
The pedals are the spiked design carried over from the V13, which is the right choice for wet grass and loose rock, and a fair warning to bare shins.

2400Wh of Samsung cells, watched individually
A 134V pack built from high-power Samsung cells, under a Smart BMS that reports the voltage and temperature of every cell to the app rather than a single number for the whole pack. On a wheel that gets ridden hard, that is how a developing problem shows up as a reading instead of a surprise.
The batteries come out, too — the cables sit under the side panel near the top of the unit. Charging takes a maximum of 16 amps, and fast charging is supported.

Sixteen inches, and a tread that means it
The V14 PRO runs a 16-inch wheel on a 3.00-12 off-road tire. A smaller diameter than the touring wheels is exactly what you want here: it turns faster for a given motor speed, which is where the torque comes from, and it is easier to place on a line you have picked out between rocks.
The headlight is adjustable, the firmware updates over the air, and the whole machine sits at 86 lbs with a 309 lb load rating.

75 miles, and the conditions behind it
INMOTION put the V14 platform at up to 75 miles from the 2400Wh pack, and unlike most manufacturers they publish how they got there rather than leaving you to guess.
Which is the honest way round. A range figure without conditions is a number; a range figure with them is information you can plan a ride on.
